After such a long and dreadful winter – everyone has had their sights set on the beauty of spring. Literally.
Take a walk outside and look up. What do you see? Sunshine, budding trees, chirping birds? Now, look down. What do you see? Mud puddles, rotting leaves, yellow grass? Interesting isn’t it? Depending on where you choose to focus, you could have an entirely different perspective of spring.
The same principle applies to life as well. Our reality is shaped by what we choose to focus on and what we make it mean. There is no absolute truth, just perspective. Next time you are in a difficult situation try to remember that you have, within your power and control, to change what you look at. Look up, put on your rose coloured glasses and shift your focus to the bright side.
” If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” Wayne Dyer
